Library storytelling hours are open to anyone wishing to join us. Adults must wear a mask. Mondays at 4 p.m. Afternoon Story Time for Kindergarten to Grade 2 children; Wednesday at 10:30 am, Toddler Time for children aged 2 and 3; Thursday at 9:30 am Reserve Babies for children from 0 to 2 years old; Thursday at 11 a.m., Preschool Story Time, birth in preschool.


Addicted – Come join our crochet and knitting club every Wednesday at 3 p.m. Bring your own yarn and complete the group project or bring your own project to work on.


Tai Chi is back in the library. Join us every Friday at 10 a.m. This course is beneficial for people with reduced mobility.


Classic Movie Monday returns on the last Monday of the month with “Night of the Living Dead”. Due to the schedule, we will start at 6.15 p.m.


The Community Book Club meets on the fourth Wednesday of the month at 1 p.m. The October book is “The Family Upstairs” by Lisa Jewell.


LACE – The Romance Readers Book Club meets on the last Tuesday of each month at 6 p.m. The book chosen for October is “A Rogue by Any Other Name” by Sarah MacLean. Copies are available at the counter.


Pretty Cool Pumpkin Decorating Contest – Bring your decorated (not carved) pumpkin on October 25th. Votes will be cast throughout the week and the winner will be announced at our Halloween party on October 29th.


Witches Brew With Witchy Poo – Join us Friday, October 29 at 4 p.m. for Halloween stories and refreshments. Wear your costume and get ready to have a scary time. The winner of the Pretty Cool Pumpkin Decorating Contest will be announced during this time.


Gravity Falls Halloween Party – Join us on Friday October 29 from 6pm. at 8 p.m. for food, drink, crafts and more. Feel free to dress up as your favorite Gravity Falls character.


A handmade quilt was donated to the Northwest Regional Library System by Carol McDowell for use as a raffle prize. We and our sister libraries will be selling raffle tickets one for $ 1 or 6 for $ 5. The profits will be used to purchase e-books for the region. Tickets are available now, you can come to the library to purchase the tickets and see a photo of the quilt. The draw will take place on November 15.
