ConnieTHE. Taylor announces new marketing campaign for his book

LONDON, Ky., October 27, 2021 / PRNewswire-PRWeb / – A contributing columnist for a local newspaper, Connie L. Taylor gathered his articles on the history of plants to create his book “Plant Folklore: 120 Stories” (published by Archway Publishing). Published in 2018, the author is embarking on a new marketing campaign to promote his book more widely.

Sharing the history of each plant, covering 120 species, the book explains how plants found in the United States, and in particular in the Appalachians, were used before and how some are still used today. “Plant Folklore” includes both myths and truths about plants that people see in various places today that they might take for granted. The book gives readers of the outdoors and budding naturalists tips and advice they can use to identify flowers and collect wildflower seeds or plants with respect and care.

“I want (the readers) to see how our ancestors used plants to flavor their gums, drinks and other foods and what role this played in our lives,” Taylor says, adding that his book “tells about how important plants were. in the past”.
