They teased him and now he’s here. Jeff Lemire and Andrea Sorrentino are launching a new horror comic book series for 2022, called The bone orchard: Myth. A six-issue series Lemire promises “will be the most ambitious thing he and I have done together,” it will be released by Image Comics next year, as part of the publisher’s 30th anniversary promotions.
Lemire and Sorrentino worked together on the old man logan at Marvel Comics, Green arrow and Joker: Killer Smile at DC Comics, Gideon Falls to Image Comics for which they won an Eisner together, and the new Primordial, also from Image. Gideon Falls must also be a television show, courtesy of Hive Media. And today they will announce something… new. Previously, Jeff Lemire had posted today’s date, scoring in Andrea Sorrentino and Image Comics, stating “Tomorrow… something scary”. And yes, it’s Halloween today. Andrea Sorrentino is an Italian comic artist known for his work on God of the war,I vampire,Joker, and Green arrow for DC Comics, Uncanny X-Men, All-New X-Men, Secret Empire, and the old man logan for Marvel, and both Gideon Falls and Primordial by Image Comics.
