Jim Lee offers the honor of the artwork; 2 Hours Final Series?



With the DC FanDome Global Fan Event less than 48 hours away, one of the events we look forward to is The CW’s Tribute Melissa Benoist– featuring Super girl, ending his run next month after six hard-hitting seasons. During the special, the cast has the opportunity to reflect on what the show and fans have meant to them over the years. But world famous comic book artist, writer and publisher of DC Comics Jim lee wasn’t willing to wait that long, taking to social media to praise the series and its cast, while also offering a glimpse of the incredible artwork he shared to honor the Arrowverse series .

“Celebrating the remaining episodes of Supergirl, Season 6 as we approach the two-hour finale on November 9 on
[The CW]! Aside from the inspired cast and the stories full of heart and emotion, I’m such a fan of the ‘Supergirl’ TV costume that I incorporated this version into the [AT&T Discovery District] lobby. Here is a quick pencil and colorful draft that I made before [DC FanDome] which has a nice panel focusing on the terrific cast, ”Lee wrote in his Instagram post celebrating The CW series (and perhaps breaking news that the Nov. 9 finale will be two hours long, possibly including a special retrospective?):

Photos of Warner Bros. will feature six highly anticipated titles with an exclusive new trailer for The batman, new content from DC League of Super-Pets, a first look at Black adam, preview Flash, and behind the scenes watch Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom and Shazam! The fury of the gods.

Warner Bros. Television will offer a preview of the new seasons of Batwoman, The Flash, Superman & Lois, and Sweet tooth; a farewell tribute to Super girl as it nears its epic conclusion after six seasons; a celebration of 100 episodes of DC’s Legends of Tomorrow; the first look at the upcoming new drama Naomi; and a preview of an upcoming episode of DC Stargirl.

Warner Bros. Games will present new revelations of the highly anticipated Knights of Gotham, developed by Warner Bros. Games Montreal, and Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, developed by Rocksteady Studios.

DC Edition will honor the legacy of one of the world’s greatest superheroes and icon of truth and equality, Wonder Woman, with a showcase of three books to come. DC explores its history with the DC Black Label miniseries Wonder woman historia, expands the Amazonian myth with Nubia and the Amazons, and honors the inspiration she provided to women around the world with the original graphic novel Wonderful women of the world. Additionally, DC will share details on the next installment of the epic comic crossover and covering the Batman / Fortnite universe, and fans can look forward to hearing more about the next one as well. Batman: State of Fear, the new number six Black mantis series, the return of Milestone Universe, and more.

HBO Max will unveil an exclusive look at the upcoming series Peacemaker and limited event series DMZ. The streamer is also throwing more surprises and previews of new series as well as returning favorites such as Titans and Fate Patrol. All four series are from Warner Bros. Television.

Warner Bros. Animation will present a preview of the next limited series Aquaman: King of Atlantis; provide a preview of the third season of the adult comedy series Harley quinn and share what’s in store #HarlIvy; offer a very early preview of the next animated chapter of the dark knight in the all-new upcoming series Batman: Crusader in a Cloak; and give fans a taste of Young Justice: Ghosts (beware: there will be spoilers!).

Warner Bros. Home Entertainment will preview two upcoming DC original animated films: a look at Superman and the rest of the Justice League in Injustice, an all-new animated film inspired by popular games and comics, as well as the trailer premiere of the all-new Heist animated film Catwoman: Hunted. Both films are produced in association with Warner Bros. Animation.
