BRUSSELS, BRUSSELS, BELGIUM, Aug 25, 2021 /EINPresswire.com/ – In a book by Massimo lntrovigne recently translated into Hungarian, he explores the ideas of the founder of Scientology on aesthetics and the arts, an important and rarely studied part of his religious view of the world.
This book is now available in English, French, Spanish, Italian and now also in Hungarian. Its original title is “Most Misunderstood Human Enterprise: L. Ron Hubbard, Scientology and the Fine Arts.”
In his book, published by FoRB Publications, Introvigne discusses in more detail Hubbard’s influence on contemporary artists, which Introvigne interviewed in different countries. Hubbard wrote extensively on the visual arts and during the latter part of his life he came to what he described as a codification of aesthetic theory, which included statements about communication, technique, perfection , color and rhythm.
Several well-known contemporary artists are themselves Scientologists and have been influenced by Hubbard’s aesthetic ideas. They report how, through courses they took at Scientology Celebrity Centers, they learned Hubbard’s effective communication skills through art. Massimo Introvigne, Italian sociologist, is the Director General of CESNUR (Center for the Study of New Religions). For the past 40 years, he has been considered one of the world’s foremost specialists in new religious movements. Writing in El PaÃs, art critic Roberta Sosco called him âone of the world’s foremost expertsâ on the complex links between Western esotericism, new religious movements and modern art.
The book in the various languages ââis available on Amazon, Google Books and Blurb.
