The Witcher 3 concert celebrating 20 years of CD Projekt kicks off in Italy later this month

If you consider yourself a big fan of the witcherand imagine a more refined and respectable vacation than strolling through Amsterdam or another boozy cruise and then a quick trip to Italy for the Witcher 3: Wild Hunt – Music from the Continent performance could be for you.

Taking place at the Lucca Comics and Games Festival in Italy, the show will include a full symphony concert entirely dedicated to CD Projekt Red’s famous fantasy franchise. Once you’re done, there’s also the rest of an already stunning country to explore, so you know there’s always the chance to make this a holiday in its own right.

Would you be up for a Cyberpunk: Edgerunners concert? I definitely would!

There are actually some awesome names behind the performance that may wake up your ears. The conductor of the evening is Eimear Noone, a major name in video game soundtracks for quite some time, being responsible for some massive tracks on games like World of Warcraft, Legend of Zelda, and more. She’s also award-winning, winning the Hollywood Music in Media Award for her work, which is pretty significant!

As for who will actually perform the music, there will be musicians from the Orchester Giovanile Italiana de Fiesole paired with Polish folk metal band Percival Schuttenbach. An Italian youth orchestra and a metal band, in what is perhaps the most arcane line-up I’ve ever heard of.

All this to celebrate CD Projekt Red’s 20th anniversary, and you can see it for yourself for 30 euros on the cheap, or 59 euros if you’re a big gamer.

If you’re headed to watch it live, let us know below! If not, why not tell us your favorite piece from the Witcher series anyway. No need to be left out.
